Surrounded by her loving family, she signed her construction loan documents with pride, joy, and determination. This moment represents more than a signature — it represents a future built with her own hands and the hands of her community.

Her closing is the first of many homes to come through Southside Outreach Group’s Self-Help Housing Program, which empowers families to build safe, affordable, energy-efficient homes through teamwork and guided sweat equity.
